Dialysis Frequency and Your Health

In treatment centers, patients can typically only get dialysis 3 times per week. However, there is a dialysis schedule that is more convenient and effective.

With Dialyze Direct, you may qualify for more frequent dialysis. Our 180+ dialysis centers within a skilled nursing facility or rehab facility allows you skip the need for transportation to and from an off site clinic. Offering treatments up to 5 days a week and for less than 3 hours at a time (pursuant to a physician’s order).

This schedule has been shown to provide many benefits, including:

Lowered mortality risk
Fewer hospitalizations
Shortened post-treatment recovery time (usually less than 1 hour)
